I have stepped into the Fireside Bowl exactly one time in my life... and it wasn't even to go bowling. This Chicago icon doubled as a concert venue for a while, and I went to see one of my favorite bands of all time (The Matches) here way back in 2003 or 2004.
I have always loved the amazing Art Deco-ish facade and bowling pin sign of the Fireside, so I set out to immortalize it in a limited edition one-color screen print.
Signed and numbered prints are for sale in the Chicago Neighborhoods Shop.
