Symmetry Magazine Editorial Art
Since late 2019, I have had the pleasure of working with Symmetry Magazine and Sandbox Studio to create illustrations to accompany various articles published on the website. Symmetry, which is a joint publication of Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, is one of the leading sites to find the latest news, meet the people behind the science, and get the background information you need to gain fluency in the language of particle physics.
While I wouldn't exactly consider myself fluent in particle physics, each project has been a huge learning experience, and for that I am grateful. I have not only gained knowledge on subjects I'm not at all familiar with, but I have also learned how to dig deep into these articles to pull out little nuggets of information to base an illustration or set of illustrations around.
